The Wellington Flight Course

The Wellington Flight Course is a comprehensive introduction to the safe transfer of patients in the aeromedical environment.

This course is suitable for:

Flight Nurses
Paramedics
Medical Staff
Midwives
Aeromedical Crew
Anyone who provides medical care in an aeromedical environment

Teaching is over 3 full days with lectures from experts in their fields including senior nursing & medical staff from Wellington Regional Hospital Intensive Care Unit, members of the Life Flight crew, and staff from the University of Otago Aviation Medicine course.

Course fees are listed below & include daytime catering.

The course has a wide & varied syllabus covering medical, legal and professional issues. It includes lectures, practical content and a water survival session in a local swimming pool.
